Next to the iPhone!
Next to the iPhone, the Google Android platform is probably the most exciting thing to happen to the cellular phone market. Versatile and absolutely a strong iPhone fighter, the Android platform was previously adopted on HTC Dream (also known as the T-Mobile G1) and the HTC Hero (T-Mobile G2). Now the first Android-powered device from Motorola, Motorola CLIQ, will be entering the market to provide more Android choices for consumers.
T-Mobile announced earlier today that the Motorola CLIQ will be available for pre-sale for existing T-Mobile customers on Oct 19. This is also the first device to feature the MOTOBLUR solution– a feature to integrate different aspects of communications such as Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, Facebook, and both work and personal emails. Other than MOTOBLUR, the Google one-touch technology also allows CLIQ users to access items such as Google Search by voice, Google Maps with Street view, You Tube and Picasa easily.
Sounds tempting? If you are not an existing T-Mobile customer, you will have to wait until Nov 2 for the nationwide release which will allow consumers to get their own CLIQ for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Release Dates: October 19th (Monday) | Presale
